Default 1970 Stereo - Speakers

Anybody have any experience with speaker locations in a 70 Blazer? I really don't want to cut up the doors... I guess I could work with the location under the dash but I want a little more sound. Is there a kit for the kicker panels? What about any slick locations in the back somewhere, any experience and suggestions are welcome.
I do not use a top and if I do it's a soft one so security is a concern.
Thanks,
Steve

Do you have trim panels in the back on the sides? That is the typical place that people add speakers. If you do not have trim panels back there, you could build a custom box right in front of the wheel well.

LMCTruck.com has a kick panel speaker setup that you could use instead of cutting into your doors.

Thanks for the tip.
I have seen the LMC kick panel speakers, has anyone actually experienced them? It looks like they screw over the kick panel and do not require drilling? I might be getting out the MDF this weekend!

They take the place of the kick panels. The problem is that they will not work with the non-A/C vehicles as there is the manual vent controls... I guess back to square 1...
