1983 K5 rocker panels
Wasn't positive where to post this, so mods feel free to move if in the wrong section.
The rockers are rusted pretty bad in my k5. I am planning to cut them out and replace them with 3x3 square tubing. It is 3/16 thick. I want to fully weld it to the body the weld cross peices over to the frame. It will kill two birds with one stone, my rockers will be replaced and i will have rock sliders for my off-roading. Does anyone see any problems with this and does anyone have pics of it being done?
