So, today I sprayed some WD40 on the hinges of the tailgate on my 88 K5 while the gate was down. I went to open it a little while later and only the driver's side would unlatch. I took off the access panel to find that, on the passenger side, the connecting rod has come off. How do I get it back on? I'm pretty clueless. I can provide a picture if necessary.
