yep got my new dizzy in the mail and went to install it today, i have everything at tdc 1 piston and when i slide the dizzy into the block i feel the cam gear ingage and it feels like the oil pump has as well, but it sits 1/4 inch off the intake manifold. I thought i might have been sent the wrong distributor but i went and check at 4 different parts stores and its the right one. can any one share some insight to this problem thanks.

 

also the old one only had the 4 wire connector and a signle wire connector and the new one has a 2 wire connector instead of the one all the one i looked at had the same 2 wire connector on it
