1994 Full Size Blazer transmission help

Default 1994 Full Size Blazer transmission help

i have a '94 full size blazer with a 5.7 and im wondering which transmissions are interchangable with my truck as i need a trans replacement and im having a hard time tracking one down. will the 4L60 from a normal jimmy or blazer work if i attach my transfercase?

when you say 'normal' Blazer or Jimmy are you referring to the 73-91 K5 body style? If that is the case then no, they will not work because only the 700R4 was offered in the K5 body style. You should be able to find another 4L60 fairly easily... a 4L60 is a 4L60, try looking through pickups of the same generation body style, should have good luck there.

sadly you only have 2 years to chose from,a 93 and 94. Any should work as long as its within those 2 years. I had this problem in my 94 sonoma.

Do you have the electronic 4L60E?
