305 tbi troubles
Hey I've had alot help from this forum with my k5 but now that its done i bought an 89 chev k1500. It had a loping idle which came from a intake gasket leak. Ive replaced that and when it started up had an idle of 2500 rpm and with the straight pipes neighbors where not happy! i checked all the sensors and it brought me to the iacv and the pintle was ceased all the way in. I replaced it and it wont start so i did some checking around and my ecu wasn't sending signals to the est and map sensor and the computer has been replaced. Still not starting I have spark i have fuel the valves are correctly set good compression but still no purr any help or ideas to go to next?

Well I got it started today but to do so I had to set the timing about 12 degrees atdc. once it was running i set the timing with the ecm wire unplugged to 0 and the hooked everything back up worked, ran idled fine well more than fine it ran like new but i shut it down came back out an hour or so later and she wont start again. Im thinking the est or the esc sensors are messed any one have any ideas?

i know it was common for the balancer/crank pully to spin on the rubber and what you think is 12* may be somthing else, My balancer is spun but i got her to run good enough to play around with
