it started yesterday night it would it wouldn't shift out of first till 35mph so i checked the fluid this morning and was two and a half quarts short then checked the tv cable and it was off after putting more fluid in it and adjusting the cable it shifts into second just fine but now i have no third of fourth any suggestions?..

How did you check TV cable?

 

From what i been told those 3rd and 4th gears love to go out in those 700r4s. But what probably happened was your tv either snapped or came off and you drove it too long like that and it shredded your 3rd and 4th. If it just started do not drive it until you take a look at the tv "kick down" cable, or you will completely shred them. Have you tried manually shifting it? This just happened to me like 3 weeks ago and now getting a new transmission! Good luck
