i wouldn't trust the owners manual, run your VIN @ a dealer, that'll tell you what the truck was originally built with. but it's been 26 years since it left Flint, so who knows what's in there.
and a little correction on my part. it was only the 'Burb's that came with 3.42's standard, it was optional in the K5's (more weight in the 'Burb to get moving).

Yea every burb i tore apart had the 342. Almost every k5 had the 308. Had one with the 273

the guy i bought it from had this paper from the dealership that listed all of the accessories and everything the blazer has in it and it said 3.08 posi i have a posi in the rear but idk if its the stock axle like you said its been 26 years
