85 K5 Starting Problems

Before all these wonderful experiences...in the summer I could just turn it and it would start right up no pumping req. Then as it started getting colder I would pump it three or for times and it would turn over and die. Then pump a few more times and it would fire up but I had to hold the accel down for a minute or two then it would idle and drive fine.
