That blue cable was what I was talking about..which I also need from trashing it with the vice grips

Yep, you are gonna have to scour the salvage yards for one out of a Suburban due to the fact that K5 tailgates are super scarce.

HEY Hooligan,,
LMCtrucks.com has a pretty good price on that cable.. That's where I got mine.. I'm still on the search for the drivebox for the regulator..

Cool, thanks man I will order one when I get my new floor metal.

I was lucky and found a guy on CL parting out an 84 so I got a driver window, back seat, and rear window motor for like $40! If he didn't live like an hour away I'd go get a regulator for you.

What floor metal are you replacing? I need to do the whole back behind the rear seat.. What do ypu have going?

I'm replacing the the metal behind the front seats (where the rear passengers feet go) and some up under the front seats. Actually, everything metal on the truck could use replaced.

OMG that cable is $60! ..I shouldn't have used the vice grips on it.
