Default 87 Blazer won't start?

Hey guys. I've got a 1987 K-5 Blazer that recently has been having nothing but problems. The most recent problem is, I went to the gas station, put gas in, went to go start, starts, shut off. Went to go start it...nothing. I still have lights but no radio, no turn over, nothing..silence. Then my dad got it running again..the next day..same thing. What could be wrong?

ignition switch issue maybe. might be loose and your acc/on/start positions might be all jacked up

Check battery terminals, metal shrinks when hot and will lose connection when hot if not clean or tight.

Battery terminals
Terminals at starter
then finally ignition switch in that order.

Check the Grounds too.

Make sure the group of wires that goes down the passenger side of the engine to the starter are not fried, I've had many problems with my 86 down there due to heat coming off the headers.

When you go to start it does it turn over at all and just whirrrr-whirrr-whirrrr? or does it do nothing?

most likely your fuel pump or a modulator under the distributor cap.
