I had a similiar issue and started my troubleshooting as below:

Most of it just required a multimeter, vacuum required a $20 brake bleeding set.

EGR will kill you about 10 minutes into driving not sure about not starting afterwards though.

To check that I put it in drive up against a parking stopper let it run until it died. Then pulled vacuum line off and plugged it and tried again. I didn't die the second time.

Vacuum:
holds steady 20 mmHg drops to 15mmHg when rev'd a bit, rebounds pretty fast.
TPS
Full range - 0.5V - 4.7V
For checking coils, resistance check primary and secondary work most the time?
Coils:
Primary - 0.7 Ohms
Secondary - 9.88k Ohms

MAP:
0 mmHg - 4.3V
10 mmHg- 2.3V
15 mmHg -1.6V
20 mmHg-0.7V
