92 Full size water in cargo area
can anyone tell me the common areas for water to enter the cargo area? My carpet was soaked for the last time the other day ( I removed it) but still need to stop the water.
Also the day it rained my rear directionals went wacky for about 8 hrs. With no other lights on they worked normal, however when the brakes were applied or the parking lights were on the directionals flashed normal in the front but teh back flased on the opposite side that was supposed to be.

Are your door hinge pins good. This is a chronic problem on the s-series trucks. Not sure how bad it was on the old fullsize trucks.

its a 2 door and only the cargo area was wet

Bad seal on the rear window or side windows? On occasion, when nothing has jumped right out at me in terms of a definite cause of a leak, I have removed the interior panels & carpet and had someone spray the outside of the truck down while I watched for the leak inside.

I have similar problem, do you have a hole on the underside of the cargo area, mine has rusted through and it can take on water through there.

I had this issue to, not sure if this will help but here is what was wrong with mine. I stuck the water hose on the roof of my truck to see where water was coming in. It flowed right along the inside of the door. creating a huge puddle. I found out that the rubber gromet that held the wiring for the rear wiper had come out of the hole letting water in. Shoved it back in, no more waterfall inside my truck.
