How much clearance is there from the air filter to the hood. I want to put a high rise intake and a new carb on it but I don't have the money for a cowl induction hood

 

I know this post is almost a month old but ---- go to a craft store. Walmart ect. and buy a brick of soft clay and set it on top of the stock air cleaner, make sure the height of the clay is over the height of the top of the fenders and shut the hood, open the hood and then measure the depth on the unmashed part of the clay that will be your clearance
