blazer 90 fuel guage adjustment
during the attempts to fix this problem: https://blazerforum.com/forum/full-s...t-downs-58062/
i lowered the fuel tank in order to put a new fuel pump. and i was thinking it's a great opportunity to fix the faking fuel gauge that always shows 3/4 when i fill a full tank.
it seems to me that it's all about adjustments. i started to play with those tiny bolts but just when i reach an optimal settings, i give it a go and lowers the float.. but when i take it back to recreate a full tank again, the gauge goes out of sync. plus when i adjust it just a bit to much the gauge locks up on far after a full tank and no matter what i do it won't come back down.
i need to take it apart and bolt back. any ideas on how to make a proper adjustment?

I think you should have been cleaning and inspecting the potentiometer contacts for damage instead of trying to mess with the float angle...
