body to frame mounts questions
#11
glad to hear you didnt have the body mount issues that most of us have had!!! springs can be Re-arched.. but there isnt alot of shops that do it. most shops will tell you if your gonna pull the springs from the truck, you might as well put brand new in.
and i tend to agree with that myself... not saying its what everyone does.. but if you are going to go through the effort of removing the spring for 3/4 of a inch, whos to say the other side wont sag next? if it were me i would invest in 2 new front springs.. and you can normally get the hardware to install with them also!!!
and bumper mounts can me bought from LMC truck!!! to straighten her out for ya!!!
just my 2 cents

One quick last question: shopping around for springs, sites are showing rear and front leafs for 73-87. However, if I remember correctly, our 85 sits higher than the 75. Is this due to higher body mounts? I don't want to buy springs and lift the truck accidentally!
