Default Is it a bolt or a stud?

So my truck didn't come with the back window lift supports, I already ordered them. Now the question is, is it a bolt that holds the lower part on or a stud of some sort? I called the local dealer here and he said it was a stud in his parts diagram but chevy is real bad about calling bolts studs in their stuff. I know the new struts don't come with any hardware. Any thoughts or pics would be appreciated.

But after looking at it I have no idea where the strut is supposed to connect to the body!!!! I may have a frankentruck. If anyone has a tahoe, blazer, yukon with the single rear door please help. I can tell where it supposed to go on the rear door just not on the body itself. There is two holes for bolts on the body but they are just a couple inches lower than the studs on the rear door.
