I just recently bough a 91 k5 with a blown motor. My uncle has a wrecked 85 Chevy truck with a gm crate motor with about 25k on that he is giving me. Would I be able to use it in my k5? Or would I have to swap over the top end from my old motor? I would appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thanks

 

i dont see why not. just gonna have to do some modifications to it, fuel pump in the tank for the tbi set up is going to a little to much just going to have to use the block tank or get a pressure regulator. also youre probably going to have a lot of stuff not hooked up and throw all sorts of check engine lights
