Default Ecm chip

Hi everybody my name is jim, People call me jim! hehehee. Anyways My sad story is i bought a 84 K5 blazer 2 years ago, The first year i found out that it came stock with a 305 and the dude before me dropped what he said was a 350 GM motor, ran strong, Then one day for some reason a pushrod came loose stuck the valve open enough to bend the valve head just enough to make it not run right, so a machine shop replaced the piston (it had a valve mark on it) and did a complete valve job.It passed DEQ clean BUT now it blows the angled chip in the distrubiter. I replaced it 3 times before i bought a new distrubiter, thinking this will get it.Today my woman (its her truck) says THIS THINGS A LEMON) Im not a real mechanic, But ive had my share of hot rods, if you know what i mean. I just cant figure this one out Help
