GM sells them but they want a fortune for them. I've used them several times and they work great. Lot easier to install too. Look under interior parts and window regulator roller.

really? not up here they don't, not anymore anyways.

and i really can't see why everybody in the States seems to luv RockAuto.com, i can never seem to find the stuff i'm looking for. plus the links never work for their site. your link went to a '94 by the way

in other words Gimpy, i couldn't find just the rollers, even when i went into the '90 Suburban folder. found complete regulators, but not the rollers.

Yes. The link was to a 94 S10. But this part has like 3 different rollers in it. Personally I have a problem with Rock Auto. I wanted to buy a fender and pick it up. Their warehouse is just 15 miles from my house. They told me I couldn;t do that. Insurance BS as usual. They told me I'd have to get it shipped to my house to the tune of like $60.00. Let's see $10.00 worth of gas or $60.00 shipping plus I needed some other stuff like a hood (over $100.00 to ship). Just told them I'd pass. Great catalog though. Anyway this part is like $6.50. You have Dorman up north, right? Here's the P/N if you want to check it out locally. Can't hurt. The diameter and width of your roller and possibly the length of the stud are the determining factors as to it working or not. Just replaced a roller with the rivet. What a PITA. Much prefer the nut.
DORMAN Part # 74430 {HELP! - Carded; 3 Piece Assortment #22094347, 3069189, 341953}
Assortment; Upper

It sounds to me like there is a mounting bracket that got knocked out of wack somewhere. the drill is much stronger that the window motors. If you replaced the entire regulator, then I really think something is bent. You may have to pull it back out and see if you can notice anything.
On another note, are you looking to part ways with the drive transmission from one of your regulators? it's the part that the cable screws to that drives the regulator.
