Hey guys,newbie to this thanks for the add. I have a 87 K5 i'm trying to restore back to original. The issue I have at the moment is that the engine just dies as I'm driving down the road, no misfires no nothing it just dies. It has new plugs, cap, rotor, egr valve, knock sensor, coolant temp sensor, map sensor. this ting is driving me nuts. in the past it has shown codes 32 and 42 its not throwing any codes at present. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

 

Does it fire right back up ? - if not and you have to wait for a bit check the ICM [ignition control module] and the wiring to it - also a dieing fuel pump will do the same and or a weak fuel pump relay but on occasion with the pump or relay I've had them sputter as they die and not as if the key was shut off
