Smile exhaust outlet advice?

hello everyone!! I am a newbee to forums and the k5 blazer world.

does anyone have advice or is there a preferred place to outlet
the exhaust on a 86 k5 that would minimize fumes from returning
into the cab when the rear window is down.

out the left or right side straight out the back, or behind the tire side outlet
or in front of the tire side outlet,
with or without turn downs for tips.

Thanks

It is quite difficult to keep the fumes from coming in the back when the rear window is down. The general consensus is that out the sides behind the tire will get the best chance of keeping the fumes away from the rather large hole in the air that these trucks leave behind them. Having a rear air deflector would help as well.
