I recently picked up a 1994 blazer sport with 100k miles. engine, interior, etc are all in great shape. It came from California however so the paint is trash. I am going to begin tear down this weekend to get it ready for paint and I have been told from a reliable source GM decided to change up how the fender flares mount on a frequent basis.


Does anyone here know how the OEM fender flares for a 1994 full size blazer are mounted on and what is involved in removing them? Throughout my various readings I have learned that some require removal of the front fender, while some only require removal of the splash shield, and some require fishing line or other tape cutting tool. I have also read that the rear ones typically only require the bolts on the underside to be removed and/or 3m tape to be cut. Anyway, Its never good to break and replace parts but on a full size 2door its hard to find these parts and would really rather not break something.


so anyways, who here knows how to take these babies off proper?
