hey there im new here my 85 k5 is on 33/15 wit a 4"lift....i wanna throw on 35s but i heard too many stories about trannys toasting trying to turn those big@ss tires...am i safe wit 35??thanx.....

 

motor/tranny would be helpfull. driving style?(aka highway, city, strictly wheeling, hilly, flat, what)

 

I ran 38s and 373s for about 6 years. Never blew a trans except when it had 273 gears. Would think it would be ok with that set up. Might be lacking a bit in power and get a trans cooler. I have 33s and 411s with no overdrive and wouldn't mind having some 373s
