Have problems getting tailgate unlocked??
I m having trouble getting my tailgate open on my 1986 K5. With the window down I have tried pulling the handle and giggling the gate itself. Is there a lock on this? Any special ideas?? Thanks Ralph

The window has to be lowered completely. If the gate is 100% stock, there is a safety that requires the window to hit a latch in the bottom of the gate to then engage the handle inside to unlatch the gate.
