Default headlight mods / header panel question.

I have a full size 87 Blazer. I want too swap in the headlights, grill, ...ect from a early 90's GMC pick up. Same as 89 to 91 full size Jimmy. I need too know if I'll have too change he header panel or if can use the 87's. Are holes drilled and tapped, can I modifie the 87's ????

I have a feeling that you also need to replace the rad support. There will be a few differences in the mounting of headlights and grille etc... Probably about $200 extra.

Default RE: headlight mods / header panel question.

A couple days ago I was up at the shop. I parked my 87 K5 next to the 89 K5 plow truck and popped the hood on both for a side by side compare. The header panel (AKA ... Radiator support) are almost the same. Looks like I might have too drill and tap a few holes, but other then that, everything looks the same. My 87 has knock outs for the 89 to 91 side by side headlights. No big deal either way, just a few more bolts, LOL.
