yeah, let me know how that one works on your truck. what was wrong with your tbi unit.

 

I think that the throttle shaft is worn and its causing the butterflies to stick making it hard to depress the accelerator. I contemplated simply rebuilding it, but this way i'll know for sure that if this doesn't fix the problem then I'll have to dig further to find out whats going on. I've already swapped the throttle cable and the accelerator. This is the last thing really. I'll end up rebuilding the one I'm taking off, and I'll probably sell that one. But for now I want to make sure that I have a well built one that will not give me any grief.

 

Have you got the one from ebay installed yet?

 

Sorry I hadn't posted but I haven't had much time to work on my truck because of my job lately. But I did get it installed, but I'm still having some other problems. It worked as advertised for the throttle body, and it fixed my sticking accelerator problems. But I'm still digging to see what my problem is with it wanting to die when I press the gas under load.
