Default Ingition Timing at Altitude

Have 89 Full Size Blazer, 5.7, Auto, 4x4, TBI. What should ignition timing be at 5000 ft. elevation? Book reads 0 degrees. Is this for sea level?

Default

Base timing should be set straight up. The ECU will modify timing as it sees fit based off of the MAP sensor reading.
