Default K5 Manual to Power Window Conversion?

I have a 87 K5 and want to convert from manual to power windows. Can I just buy a new regulator and swap out the old one? If anyone has done this, please let me know.

It can be done, but it isn't as simple as just getting the regulators. You need the wiring, door panel, switches, etc. And you likely will have to cut a hole through the door for the wiring. The power window regulator will swap in for the manual one.

yeah pretty much. ive bought manual doors and put them on a power truck. the only nice thing is yeah you have to cut the holes but there are dimples where the hole sare supposed to be so you can just drill them out with a hole saw. i believe the power regulator bolts right into the same spot as the manual one. its been a while
