Default K5 power window problems

I have a 1985 Blazer K5 with power windows. The passenger window opens and closes very slow and the drivers door just makes a strange noise. Note, the drivers door looks like it was replaced at one time so may be it was not installed correctly.I don't know what to check or how to remove the motors. I need to fix this asap so I can get a mechanical inspection done so I can drive it on the road. Any ideas?

take off your door panels and inspect the operation of the motor when you have the door panel off plug the control switch back in for checking operation as for the other door if its going up slowly then it sounds like the motor is going out once you take off the door panels there will be a whole bunch of holes to were you can get to the motors easily to replace them or take them out and install them properly

Actually, I would hotwire the motor to verify that it isn't a power delivery problem, but I am going out on a limb and state that the motors are probably toast. Typically in the older vehicles you either get power through the switch or you don't.

This could also be a window out of alignment, making it bind. If you find that if you wiggle the window as you try to raise/lower it and it works better, then you may need to adjust the channels.
