I just bought an 82 K5 and i tried to put the window down while I was driving and it came off the track. We tried to fix it but it is all bent up and rusty, the track wont hold the window. I cant seem to find a replacement regulator anywhere.
2nd : the smell from the exaust is awfull, not really any color or smoke.. i cant seem to figure out what it might be. the vapors burn my eyes when they come inside the truck when windows are down.
3rd:gas gage not working it moves but doesnt read correctly so i have no idea how much gas i really have. I dont know where to start to figure out how to fix it.

 

LMC has all the door window stuff you need.

You shouldn't be getting exhaust in the cab with you. I'd check for an exhaust leak.

Fuel gauge. Probably check the sending unit first. Could be the float as well. Or even the gauge itself.
