Default Newbie w/ 84 K5 - help needed for seats

Hello all. I recently purchased an 84 K5 and am having some fun doing some small things when I have time. I'm using this for general cruising and will hopefully put a plow on the front to do a few neighbors' driveways....

The drivers seat is broken and I got my hands on some replacements (for both drivers & passengers). The replacement seats have no writing, indications of manufacturer etc. They are racing style and came w/ sliders and were out of a sports car (since there is no lift/ bracket). I'm trying to find the cheapest way to get a base for these seats, so they sit higher and are compatible w/ the truck. I've looked at the major manufacturers (sparco, momo, etc.) offering universal pieces. Below is a link to pics of the truck & seats.

Enjoy the view of the truck. Any leads to make this seat project as painless as possible, let me know.

How are your current seat frames? I know you are probably looking for something that will bolt in, but I highly doubt you will find something that simple and easy. With a small amount of fab work, you should be able to use your existing seat brackets to mount the new seats.

Original seat frames are pretty solid, but the sliders don't work, so my original thought was to keep the bracket & frame and use the new sliders (on the replacement seat). I started going down the path of looking into replacement frames when I saw that I'd have to remove the pins that hold the brackets to the sliders (in the k5 frames) (the replacement seats are slightly smaller at the base than the original k5 seats). I would prefer to keep the original k5 brackets and frames - have ideas/ leads on how to remove the pins? I started drilling, but quickly stopped.
