oil filter close to header 86 k5 350

Default oil filter close to header 86 k5 350
Changed my filter to the shortest one I could find. not touching anymore but is still very close . How close can it be? Is there any specific headers that works for my year?

there are kits where you relocate the oil filter

Adam the oil filter should be ok so long as it's at least 1 to 1.5 inches away from the header. That's about how far the filter is from the header on my 81 k5, my 91 Camaro, and my dad's 88 suburban.
