Default Parking brake problem

I hope I am posting this in the right section, but I have a full size 1994 Blazer 2 door, and I went to engage the 4X4 this morning, and the parking brake stuck. I pull the release lever, and the pedal doesn't come back up. I can slide the pedal back up, but it swings freely back to the pressure point forthe engagedbrake. Now, I just got the truck, haven't real been into it a whole bunch yet, and the ground is covered in snow, so I don't want to be crawling under the truck for too long if avoidable. Any thoughts on what could be making it stick, or how I can fix it? It has 22's on it right now, don't know if that might have anything to do with it. I greatly appreciate any help I can get here.

Or if anyone has a diagram of the parking brake system, that might help too!
