Try pulling the release and moving the park brake pedal up at the same time and see if it goes off. Mine does the same now and again when the pedal does not come all the way up or the switch comes loose and moves a little bit.

no no, try pulling up on the pedal/lever while holding the release handle. Check the switch also, it may be FUBAR... swartlkk would know where the switch is probably.

IDK, this maybe completely unrelated but I have the same problem with my 2nd gen. Exept for me the battery and ABS lights are also barely on. Seems to me like its current leaking. didnt happen to mine till i put LEDs in. I have mucked with em to no avail. but it is super annoying.

well.. I'd really like to know where is that switch.
any way - another strange thing has happened to me and i don't know if the two are connected.
i was driving along and suddenly the brakes paddle was really hard and i noticed suddenly that I'm actually driving while my breaks are applying without me pressing the paddle. the released themselves after i let the truck cool-down for about half an hour. is there any connection to the light?
and, does anybody have an idea what made my breaks to lock on their own?

thanks in advance, yarin.
