yes i whent into 4 lo beleiving that sine my front actuator doesnt work and was unhooked that i would basically be in 2 wheel low

what exactly do you mean by "unhooked"?

ouch, buddy at school did something like this, he had 4:10 in the rear and 3:73s in the front on his ranger. it was lifted and had big tires. only thing was the 4wd was hellacious. when he engaged 4wd the front or back couldn't keep up. needless to say he since fixed the problem but learned a hard lesson.

i had the electrical connection to the actuator unhooked. so there was no way for it to engage
