Rear Window Handle/Crank
So I just bought a 76 blazer and the rear window crank is missing. I ordered all of the parts from LMC. I can not for the life of me figure out how the pawl and spring go in. I have sit here for hours trying to do this. I searched for pictures and write ups but nothing out there to explain if you have nothing to compare it to or if you have never seen the thing assembled any help would be greatttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!

This is the best I could come up with from my illustrations manual:
The pawl (52) & spring (51) feed in from the bottom prior to putting the barrel (46) on the back (inside) side of the crank handle assembly (49). You have to push the lock cylinder (48) into the bore so that the pawl/spring can slide in. Then slide the barrel (46) over and install the snap-ring (53) to secure the lock cylinder & barrel in place.

I too have the same issue and want to add that this by far is the best description and illustration I've seen. I am however still unclear. can you cross reference the part that you mentioned to the part numbers in the diagram As I am unclear what part you're referring to when looking at the illustration? that would help a lot.

i remember my first k5 didnt have one, had to use a pickle fork to roll that window up and down

I am trying to fix mine. I have the basic jist of things. One thing I can't figure out. How do I secure the lock cylinder in the crank handle? I have seen the schematics calling for a "pin" but I don't see where that goes in. Also, if it isn't a pin, how does the snap ring attach to secure the actual lock cylinder?
