roll bar question

Default roll bar question

hey a guys sellin a 4 point roll cage off a 74 bblazer i got a 78 do you think itd fit befor i buy it???its kinda far so i cant really go back and forth to measure

It depends on where it mounts to the floor. I can't remember when the floor changed. If your bed floor ends directly behind the front seats (ie. no foot-well for the back seat), then it should bolt right in once you drill the holes.

mine has about a 5 inch step up where the back seat startsright about where the wheel wells start is that a problem?

Here's the floor in my '74. And you can also sorta see how the roll bar in my truck bolts in.

it almost looks like tou have more room where the step and the wheel well begins where the step up starts its only a 3 or 4 inch space befor thats where the wheel well starts is yours mounted in the well between the front seats and the step or on the step itself by the armo of the seat

The newer had more room behind the door at the same level as the floor under the front seats. The floor in my '74 jumps up to bed floor height a few inches behind the door jam.
