RPM drops
Hello everybody!
when I'm in a situation like a traffic jam. when i need to apply a little gas and shortly after i need to brake. the rpm drops significantly. it happens every time and it feels like the engine's about to go off. and so - after a few times it does go off. it's like the engine can't sustain it's rpm.
any ideas?

How's your idle and timing set? Do the RPMS fluctuate any at normal idle?
1990 is a Throttle body right? I'd check the spray pattern coming out the Throttle body. Might also be time for a top end cleaning.

yeah, check spray pattern, or mabey o2 sensors, or the tps. that sea foam spray works pretty good for cleaning throttle bodies

actually the truck is out of order for now, i wrote about my broken rear axle.
I'm spending all of my time trying to find me a Detroit locker, it's very expensive in Israel, so as soon as i'll check it out i'll write about what I've found.
Yarin.
