Default Single Side Brake Light Issue

Have a 94 blazer that the passenger side brake and turn signal light not working. The bulbs are new and the sockets works on the driver side. The fuse is good also. It looks as if the trailer light wires had recently been replaced before I bought. Any ideas what or where to check next?

Check the wires coming down out of the steering column with a test light... if no power at the left side turn signal wire then you may need to replace the turn signal switch.
