steerin problem

Default steerin problem

hey i have my truck put back together new heads and running pretty good ..i put a new powersteering pump while i was at it because i have an awful screeching problem when i turn hard like a u turn or backing out but wnyway the new powersteering pump didnt fix the problem its a little better but its still embarrasing with that god awful screeching anyone know where to start since it aint the pump??its a 78 k5

how much lift and do you have a lifted steering arm or anything to correct the steering angle?

i think its a 4 in lift i dunno i personally havent lifted it yet but its pretty high compared to a stock blazer.. no i didnt bleed nothin

if the steering angles arent correct it might be a reason. cause instead of the gear box just pushing and pulling like its designed to do its also pushing downward and pulling upward taking alot of strength away from the push/pull set up like its designed to do

my old scotsdale used to do that the p/s gear box was binding up replaced it and was good to go
