Default Tailgate Regulator Wheel

Hi All,

I just got done restoring the interior and body on my '76 Blazer, and "completion" is being undone by what should be a $2 plastic wheel.

So here's the deal. My tailgate window doesn't work because the little plastic wheel that slides in the track has been lost. As a result, the regulator arm doesn't stay in the track. GM only sells the full regulator, and that has been my luck at salvage yards as well. Does anyone have a clever suggestion on how I could rig up a workable solution, or am I pretty much stuck with buying the full regulator?

Thanks!

I'll post up some "completed" pics as soon as this little snafu is out of the way. Crooked rear windows just don't look right with a new paint job...

if youre really good with a welder you may be able to weld a small stud where that wheel was then use a lock not to hold that wheel down by tightening it just enough to keep it from wobbling around.

just reread your post and it was lost not broke. i wonder if the help section would sell them.
