Default Throttle response

Just bought an 85K5. Has a 350 in it(not the original motor its). Has an edelbrock carb that is pretty old. Was wondering if there is anything I can do to loosen it up a bit and make the pedal more responsive.

You could go through the carb, clean & rebuild it. My '74 is pretty snappy with its Rochester Q-jet. Was a dog before I rebuilt the carb.
