Default Truck wont stay running

Hey guys first time here. I have a 1993 full size blazer 4x4 and it wont stay running. It will start and run for about five minuets then it dies, then it wont start again for about 3-4 hours. The fuel pump, and fuel filter were replaced about a week ago. New plugs, wires, ignition coil, distributor cap and rotor about a month ago. All the fuses and fuel pump relay are good, when i turn it to the on possition i can here the pump turn on. My check engine light also just started turning on when im driving and the turn off. I was told to stick a paper clip in to the OBD to get the code but i dont know how to read it. It flashed then a long pause then two more quick flashes. It did that three times in a row the it flashed long pause then three more quick flashes. It also did that three times then went back to the first one. Any ideas or help would be great thanks guys.
