Default Windshield

I need a windshield for a 79 K5. It is in the building process, and will be strictly off road. With that being said, I don't need a glass windshield. I would like to put a Poly windshield in it, is there any aftermarket poly windshield for a K5? The only ones I could find were for mini wheelers (jeeps, trackers, etc etc...)

Won't a poly windshield get all scratched to hell in a hurry when you're out wheeling, might as well just leave it out put in some netting or something and wear a helmet with a full face shield lol.

A poly windshield will hold up well, you are thinking of Lexan.
Polycarbonate is scratch resistant, just under the resistance of glass. All I can find is a company called Roadless gear, but like I stated in my OP, they only make them for Yota's, Jeeps, and Sami's.

There are a lot of testimonials here..... http://forums.off-road.com/suzuki-ge...indshield.html
Which is how I found this forum.

I don't like full face helmets. You lose peripheral vision. I ride in the desert, so yes I will see quite a few branches, Arizona Pinstriping.

If I can't find a poly windshield, I will just settle with glass, and try not to roll over.
