wont start
i just got a 1972 blazer with a 350 it ran well the first 2 days then decided it didn't to start or even begin to turn over, i replaced the starter after that didn't work i replaced the battery, im stumped if anyone has any suggestions it would be great.
If the starter spins but DOES NOT engage with the flywheel to turn the engine over, the clearance is off and you have to use a shim or two to pull the starter away. But if the starter is just spinning and the bendix isnt being thrown forward then theres a problem with the starter/solenoid
If the starter is too close to the flywheel it will just spin because it cant mesh with the flywheel teeth to turn the engine over
