Walmart is the cheapest place to get an Optima battery around here.

Exhaust pipe - $12

Chevy emblem - $6

Racing pedal pads - for these, I went to Advance Auto Parts. $7 compared to about $16 at Walmart.

That being said... Will be interesting to see what others have gotten from there.
I'm not here to start an argument, but I hate when people bash Walmart. I doubt you actually know what you are talking about. What is your reasoning behind saying they don't care about their employees? My mother has worked for Walmart for 26 years and has been treated very well the entire length of time.

This thread was about bargains we've found for our blazers, not an opportunity to bash a company. If you "won't be able to contribute to this conversation" then please don't. There was no reason for that post.

FYI...

Looks like the black part on the sides of these are starting to fade. So may not stand the test of time,

Advance Auto may be a better choice!

*sigh**

I get household stuff around Walmart mostly. Auto stuff I tend to buy online instead.

I don't like to give much business to Walmart as I agree they ruin local small businesses.

Walmart/Meijer/Autozone/Orielly/Chet Nichols/August pohls/Ridge & Krame and more all within 10 miles of me... I usually go to walmart/Meijer with the wife.
I have purchased a few things From both
Wal-Mart - Tires for the wifes car, No issues.
Wal-mart - Tires Goodyear Wranglers for my aunt jimmy.. no issues other than one tire needed re balanced. didn't get a fuss they did it with out an issue
Meijer - Boss 4x6 & 6.5" for my old S10.. nice speakers and at $20 a pair not to bad
Wal-mart - Mobile 1 oil $25 for 5qt jug and mobile one filter $14, not priced to bad
wal-mart - tools, I have bought a few kits, They are decent but CHEAP. you get what you pay for as with a lot of tools.
Meijer - Heated messaging seat covers for my 98 blazer.. nice for $20
Wal-Mart - Radar Detector.. there customer service-returns department sucks.
Wal-mart - Amp installation kit. Nice quality but better off building you own.
Meijer - Seat covers, Had a problem with them ripping but just bought a set for my blazer and they seem nice. only been on a week.

They have some decent things at both Meijer and Wal-Mart. Just got to remember you get what you pay for.
