Default 01 Blazer starts when it wants

Fuel pump and filter one year new, new plugs, injection system good and just replaced starter.

Might start on one turn 4/5 days and on day 6 nuthing, trys to turn over but won't. Wait a day or two and starts right up. There is no set pattern. when it turns over, runs fine?

check your battery cables they tend to go bad i would just replace them all i believe there are three in total ( the BIG 3 http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f202/b...how-to-321330/ ) that is where i would start i would also check the wires on your starter could be loose.

If it cranks, even though it won't start and run, I wouldn't think the battery cables would be at fault.

What brand pump, etc? Probably ought to do a fuel pressure/leak down test, even if to only rule out fuel related problems.

did pressure/leak test- pump is good-- starter tight, battery cables good- sounds "fine" when it turns- also just stuck a new alternator in back in December, started right up today- work and back- but come morning might decide to take a day or two to start?

When people say they did a pressure/leak down test, they never post the results.
What were the results for the pressure/leak down test? How was the test performed?
