Default 1994 Blazer LT 4dr 4wd Purchase advice

Hi,
I'm looking for a vehicle for my teenage son, and we found a '94 Blazer LT 4dr 4wd. It's in good condition, 141,000 miles, pretty clean. It's on one of those grungy used car lots, so you never know what you're really buying. It's from the next town over, so I know it's a local truck. Most likely the guy got it from a Dealer trade in.

It drove pretty nice, the ABS light is on, and the rotors are warped. The electronic 4wd stuff seemed to engage and disengage smoothly. Shifted nice, idled pretty good. All the electronics work except the temp gauge never moved.
It's loaded, I noticed in the glove box on the RPO sticker, it's got most every option, even the G80 LSD rear end.

He's asking $1900. I do most of my own work on my vehicles, so I can change out the rotors. If the ABS doesn't work, that's ok. Sounds like it costs a fortune to replace that controller.

Any advice or opinions?
Thanks,
Billy

Considering I picked up my 1997 blazer w/ 154k miles and none of the issues you mentioned for 1699 OTD, you might want to keep looking.

Yeah, $1900 sounds like an awful lot for that. I bought my '93 Bravada for $500 and had to put about $300 into it for inspection (just parts - I do my own work) - still less than half what he's asking for that one.

If it was myself I would buy a 1996 or newer. In 96 they upgraded the air intake to a mass air flow & to an OBDII computer system. Both are still used.

that's way too much for a 94 i paid $900 for my 94 4door 4wd with 90k on it and drove it for a year without any issues problems started when i let it sit for 7 months while i drove a little shoebox 98 cavalier during the high fuel prices (60 mile round trip to work was killin me in the blazer)
