1995 GMC Jimmy Lift kit
I plan on putting a lift on my blazer this summer, its the 4 door 4x4. I only want 5-6 inches but not as a whole lift, I plan on doing the 2 or 3 inch body lift and a 3 inch suspension lift. I know you can do up to 3 inches with new torsion bar keys, but it also puts stress on components such as the ball joints and CV shafts. I think I have 2 options for the suspension lift. 1.) get this get from rough country
Chevy / GMC Suspension Lift
or 2.) buy torsion keys from eBay ($50) and I already have shackles and get ball joint spacers to reduce the wear on them (the top ones anyway).
Which one should I do? If all else fails I'll just do the 2-3 inch body lift and maybe do a torsion crank. Point is will the ball joint spacers substitute for the new control arms from the actual kit? I know I will have to get new shocks, just trying to compare prices and save a little bit.
Thanks
